Mediation Services
Thank you for your inquiry regarding mediation. The Family Mediation and Counseling Center is a group of mental health and legal professionals. We offer our services to people seeking an alternative to litigated divorce and other family conflicts. Our professional alliance pairs divorce and its attendant issues with the mediation process to arrive at livable, creative resolutions.
The mediation process is an effective way to address the legal issues as well as the emotional aspects of family conflict. Unresolved emotional conflicts are frequently the source of unnecessary litigation. Mediation is more cost effective than litigation because it reduces legal expenses. Solutions fashioned by the parties themselves are more likely to prevent expensive time-consuming Court proceedings in the future. We offer male and female co-mediators who work as a team with the spouses or parties.
Our rate for co-mediation is $350/hr. We accept only checks or cash. Please call our office to schedule an appointment, at which point intake forms will be sent to you to begin the mediation process. Also included on this website, are an Agreement to Mediate and an intake form that can be sent back to us for review once you have scheduled an appointment.
